Alright, Austin's bump is the result of what happenes when a three year old is pretending he's a Transformer while playing on a leather couch. He was told to get down before he fell and refused so Nathan was on his way over to retrieve him when he flipped himself over the back/side corner and head first on the hardwood floor 4 feet down! Austin has since decided that when pretending to be a Transformer he won't be on the leather couch. He's convinced that it was because his "jammies are slippery" on that couch and that's why he fell but "I'll play it safe and stay away from it" from now on! Hope fully he's learned his lesson for this week.
I have figured out that my kids only run into things and hit their heads during the winter when they are forced to play inside all the time. They are more outdoors children and get cabin fever the minute they have to stay inside! We usually go all summer long injury free! So here's hoping for a early spring!
