Just posting to simply post I guess. I don't have any pictures or really anything to say but I thought that I would say HI! I don't know if I'll be able to post before Thanksgiving so I would like take the time to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! I would also like to mention a few things that I am thankful for:
1. My family. I am so grateful for a husband who works so hard to provide for our family and who loves me when I'm at my worst. I'm thankful for two beautiful children that make me laugh most of the day (they also drive me crazy!!!)
2. My larger family. I have the best parents that I could ever ask for not to mention my amazing In law's! I have learned so much from all my parents and I can't wait to learn more.
3. I have too many blessings to write about so I won't take much more time. I have 3 crazy brother's who are married to three very patient and wonderful women. I have an amazing sister in law (nathan's sister) and her family that have taught me so much over the years. I am also the proud Aunt of 8 nieces and 3 nephews that I love very much! I hope that we can all take a moment this holiday season to truly think about what we have to be grateful for and express that!

I Did it FINALLY!

So I have been trying for the last three days to make rolls. Now I know that making rolls doesn't sound like anything difficult but these rolls really are. This roll recipe has been handed down in Nathan's family for 5 generations!!!! and they are truly a work of art. I finally got them right and it ONLY took 3 times. Seriously, they are the best rolls ever but the hardest to get right! Mine aren't as perfect as Nathan's sister's but they are very good if I say so myself! Here is a picture so that I have proof that I did it!

I love lazy days!

I love those days when you can just sit around in your jammies and do whatever you want! Today is one of those days even though I have been very productive! I haven't been under and time constraints today so I'm stress free which makes my chores feel less chore-like! I think that Bubba and Little Miss Pai have followed in suit!

Mad Skills

I feel the need to show off some of my husband's extraordinary skills at home improvement! Nathan has single hand idly fixed, built, painted and right out remodeled our home. I can prove that NOT ONE area in our house is the same as when we bought it 5 years ago. We bought our house with the intent of fixing it up of course but I never thought that we would have taken it this far. Here are some pictures of Nathan's latest finished projects.

This is the B-board and trim/shelf that Nathan did in Austin's new room. Then he painted it and finished it off with some stain to antique it! The room looks Awesome!!!!

This is the Window in Austin's new room, Nathan replaced the one window and re-cased this one as well as painted the whole room. I can't forget the new texture on the walls as well. I'm beginning to think that Austin's room is the coolest one in the house!

This is the new closet in that same room. He built in the new organizer and as you may notice there is an electrical box in one of the cubbies, it's for a TV and DVD player so that Austin can watch movies when he's down there! He totally has the coolest room and the best part is, Nathan isn't finished! He plans on writing Austin's name on the wall in cursive with Rope!!!

This is the range cover in my kitchen. Nathan didn't build it but he did make it function. He built in a light and fan inside of it as well as painted and finished it as well as antiqued it to match the rest of the kitchen.

These are some of my kitchen cabinets that he repainted and stained to get the same antique finish as the rest of the kitchen. They look amazing and so does the rest of the kitchen!

Nathan also tore down our deck this last summer and built a new trex deck for us! I am still amazed at how great the deck looks! I don't know what I would do without Nathan, he is the best husband ever. He does all these projects around the house and works 2 jobs! I guess from now on I can't complain when he goes on his many fishing trips, He's earned them! I love you Honey!

Here is my absolutely precious little girl! She just got into her jammies after a nice warm bath and that does the trick for getting this little angel to sleep for the night! Now only if her big brother was that easy to get to bed every night I'd get some sleep!!! Here's wishing!

Isn't she beautiful! I just want to bite her chubby cheekies!

Horsin around

Sundays are a good day for us to just stay in and play around with each other and Austin and Nathan have tons of fun playing horsey. Well I don't know if Nathan loves it as much as Austin does but I sure enjoy watching it!

Daisy manages to get a cheap shot in here and there when Nathan's hands are unavailable to move her away or block her tounge! Austin finds it about as funny as I do when Daisy gets him!

Here's my boys! (and Daisy) Aren't they the cutest!!!

The many faces of Austin

These are a few pictures of Bubba and some of the funny faces he makes and things he does.
Bubba and Paisley like to sit on Dad, I guess he makes a better seat than just the couch!
Here he is again in his new room and Dad built for him. Dad is very handy to have around and not a bad painter to be honest! Bubba is just trying to help Dad where ever possible

Bubba has a little dump truck toy that the bucket opens off the back and for some reason he likes to open the bucket and sit on the bottom of the truck and ride around like it's a bike! The truck is small enough that he can hold it in one hand and carry it around so it was totally not designed for this type of abuse but he really has fun doing it!

I love this picture because he's holding Nathan's deodorant! Every morning when I'm getting ready in the bathroom, Bubba is usually sitting on the counter top watching me and handing me my make-up but when I put on my deodorant he wants to put some on as well and he's figured out where dad keeps his. I guess it's never too early to learn good hygiene practices.

Good Times

Once again, no pictures sorry. This Halloween was lots of fun. Austin is finally old enough to actually go trick-or-treating and enjoy it! We were out for about 15 minutes when Nathan took Pai Pai home to hand out candy and all Bubba kept saying was "more houses mommy, more houses", he loved that people would give him candy for just saying Trick-or-Treat!
We also got ourselves a Wii this last week! Can I just say, SUPER FUN! We have been game playing fools. I can't play for very long because of the hands and wrists but I'm slowly getting good at these games. All I need now is the Mario Carts game so that Bubba and I can drive cars! I'll work on getting a picture of Bubba and Nathan playing the boxing game together, it's sooooo cute!
