Easter....Blah blah blah

I love Easter, in fact it may be one of my favorite holidays, however I'm sooooooo happy that it's over. This year Nathan's birthday fell on the Saturday before Easter so we were able to spend time with our friends to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time and it was so nice to be away from our kids for a night.
I am completely exhausted from all the egg hunts that we did this weekend. I think we did a grand total of 6! I have more candy than Walmart at this very moment and I only have two kids. Saturday nearly broke me. From the time we woke up to the time that we finally made it home for the night was at least 13 hours. That is a lot when your oldest child is 2 1/2. We came home between our three parties and I still think that our total time home was 1 hour. The only naps that my kids got were the ones they took while I was driving. I put over 50 miles on my car and the farthest I drove was Riverton. I was finally victorious this year however, both Nathan's parents and my parents hide money in the eggs so that it's fun for the adults. I finally found money at both the hunts. Yeah for me!
As for pictures, my camera is in need of some repairs I'm sure due to a child's love of photography, thank goodness there's a Nixon repair shop in Salt lake. I promise that I do have some pictures of Austin's bruises and of our Easter fun but they are stuck for the time being. I hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Wow! Busy, busy, busy! I would be happy that it's all over too! I'm glad that your kids were able to handle going to so many parties & egg hunts. I think it would have been tantrum city for us!

About your comment on my blog...I think that the faux hawk would actually be really cute on Zach too if we cut it a little shorter. We always take him to Cookie Cutters just to avoid tantrums whent the hair stylist pulls out the scissors, but if you're up for it, I'd love to have you cut his hair instead!

Yikes! You guys are too popular, or have too many friends or something!! I couldn't handle a day like that I don't think. Although, Sophie can't survive w/o a nap. You're a super mom!

My sister Kathy's birthday was Saturday, too. She's my hero, so Nate must be pretty awesome, too. It sounds like you need to tell people no!
