Great Weekend!

I just had to post about my weekend. This past Saturday I was invited to a Body Shop at Home Girls Nite Out party hosted by my Sis-in-law Jacci. Now the Body Shop Rep happened to be my other Sis-in-law Sarah so that was really fun. My mother and I were among the guest list and can I just say how fun it really was. I don't know about you but I'm always a little hesitant to go to parties like: Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, Sentsy and all the others because I don't find them to be the best time and I always feel like I have to buy something (no offense to those who sell these things because I was one of you at one point). Sarah has sold a few things before and I have hosted parties for her in the past but none like this one. If any of you have ever attended a Mary Kay or Avon party years ago you will have an idea of what this was like. We started with the skin care lines that they have and we were able to use any and all of what they have and really gear it towards our skin types. Then we got to play with all the make up!!! And if that weren't fun enough, we were completely pampered with a hand and foot treatment after that. Then to finish it all up we got to play with the Spa items as well. It only took about 2 hours and it was sooooo much fun!!! Now none of you are safe because I have booked a party in a few weeks on a Saturday morning and everyone is invited!!! You need to come just to get away from your kids for a little bit and focus on something relaxing and fun for YOU!!! Please don't feel pressured to buy anything or let that feeling keep you from coming because I won't be hurt if you don't purchase anything. Finances are tough for almost all people right now but we all need a moment to ourselves! If you do like what they have totally feel free to buy what you want :) ... Look for you invite in the mail and if you don't get one and want to come it's because I only have a few invites but just leave a comment or call me and I'll get you the info!!!! I promise that you will love it and that even just the social time will be worth it!
Then the other cool part of my weekend was that my very good friend Kathi had a baby Girl!!! Yeah! Baby A (not her real name obviously) was born on 9/20/09. She is totally cute, I've seen pictures! I'm just happy for you Kathi that your not prego anymore.
