FYI

Ok so I hope that Nathan doesn't kill me for posting this but he and I agree that this is one of the stupidest things ever!!! Nathan was in a small car accident the other day when he hit an older lady while diving home on Ticklegrass. He was heading West and the other driver was heading South on 4900 West. Now as we (anyone who has driven on Ticklegrass) all know there are NO stop signs or Yield signs for that matter all the way until Beargrass. The "social norm" for this neighborhood seems to be that Ticklegrass has the right of way and all cross streets yield to it which is what Nathan was doing when he T-boned the other driver who didn't yield to him because she was looking for an address and was not paying any attention. When the officer arrived she explained to Nathan that he was at fault (to a point) because in a "residential area that is unmarked you are to treat all intersections as 4-way stops!!!!!" So Nathan apparently ran the IMAGINARY stop sign. Now the other driver was also at fault for running her imaginary stop sign as well. So I guess that means that from now on when you are driving up Ticklegrass you should yield to all cross traffic that is to the intersection first. I'm almost positive that this will actually cause more accidents! Nathan and I will most likely be contacting West Jordan City to argue this exact case because I don't feel that I should have to pay for this lady's car to be fixed because the city didn't feel the need to post any traffic signs in our neighborhood!
