So If you ever look at my son you will notice that he has a huge scar running diagonally across his forehead right smack in the middle. Now he will have a new one to match just over his right eye. On the top of our movie cabinet there is a Willow Tree figurine that Austin loves to carry around because he thinks it looks like "him and Mommy". Well he opened the cabinet a little hard yesterday and the figurine wobbled and fell off smacking Austin in the forehead (naturally). He has a massive goose egg and of course it's black and blue. Now I have been to the doctor for some of his "head trauma" cases and they tell me that the forehead is the hardest bone in the head to break and the least common to break in a child but I think, scratch that, I believe that Austin is personally putting that statistic to the test!

That's a sweet goose egg! I always reward my boys when it gets all raised and blue like that. I give them a high five and tell them that not just anybody can be so successfull at goose-egg making.
Give Austin a hug from the Sweet family and tell him we hope he gets better soon, and then give him a high five!
Easton used to constantly have 3-4 bruises across his forehead at any given time. He has a permanent dent in his forehead from smacking it on my grandma's coffee table. Poor guys. He doesn't get hurt a lot now. I guess he learned.
